Showered With Love

Last Saturday my sister Holly and my mom threw me an amazing baby shower!  My mom flew my sister Jessica in from Utah as a surprise, and my sister Natalie drove down from Minnesota, so all four of us were together!  I also had my two cousins and my aunt from Ohio, and my childhood friend from Wisconsin drive in.  I felt SO spoiled.  Plus all my friends from church and high school... it was perfect.

We held the shower in a conference room we rent out at my work and it was a great location  Three GRACIOUS friends and I decorated the room the day before so the morning of the shower wasn't too hectic for me.  We had crockpot beef sandwiches, a veggie tray, fruit with a chocolate fountain, and a cake my mom made in the shape of a baby buggy.  During the shower we decorated onesies with all sorts of craft supplies and just chatted - it was really low key.  I have some ADORABLE onesies now that little Lincoln is going to love :).

Sunday we got to spend the whole day together as a family, then Jessica left Monday morning and Natalie left Tuesday afternoon.  It was a really great, busy weekend.  As much as I would like to take it easy this week, there is more excitement ahead.  I leave tomorrow morning for Utah to go to Alyssa Durant's wedding!  She is getting married in the Salt Lake Temple on Friday and I get to be a bridesmaid.  I'm really excited to be there for her special day.  Just pray for me that I don't go into labor in Utah without Aaron.  I do have seven weeks left... but only seven weeks!!!
